Meet the Team

When you become a patient at ThriveWell, you can rest assured that our practitioners understand what you’re going through on a personal level. As TRT and GLP-1 patients themselves, our team is uniquely qualified to help patients on their own respective journeys—we’ve been there, and we’re here to help.

Ryan, APRN

President & Founder

Ryan—a nurse practitioner with 15+ years of healthcare experience in emergency/hospital medicine, urgent care, and long-term care—founded ThriveWell in 2023 to help others navigate health challenges he’s faced and overcome himself.

“I’ve struggled with weight issues and low energy for as long as I can remember, even though I was exercising, lifting weights, and trying all kinds of diets.”

Years of being overworked and overstressed compounded the problem, wreaking havoc on his physical and mental health until, one day, he decided enough was enough. He was determined to take back control of his health…and he did just that. After doing extensive research, he worked with his doctor to run labs and uncover low testosterone as the underlying cause of his health issues.

“I’m passionate about what we do because I know firsthand how these treatments can really change people’s lives. Helping others be proactive with their health and regain that spark they’ve lost along the way—there’s nothing more rewarding than that.”

In his spare time Ryan enjoys working out,  traveling, landscaping and home improvement projects, spending time with his family, friends and pets.

Joe, APRN

Associate Practitioner

Joe—a family-practice trained nurse practitioner with 15+ years of experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Express Care—joined ThriveWell as a practitioner in 2026, with a shared passion to help people take back control of their health.

Ryan and Joe’s health struggles were similar—despite working out, lifting weights, and being active for much of his life, Joe’s weight continued to climb as he got older. Turning 40 was a wakeup call for him—his weight was the highest it had ever been, and he felt worse than he ever had. He had high blood pressure, sleep apnea, gout, and was on the brink of being diabetic.

Taking inventory of his health—and vowing change before something catastrophic occurred—Joe began his own journey to uncovering answers, and turned to Ryan for help.

“Beginning a regimen of GLP-1 treatment, along with consistent healthy eating and continued exercise, brought me the results I’d been trying unsuccessfully to achieve for years.

”No longer on the verge of being diabetic, experiencing significant gradual weight loss, and feeling better than he had in years, Joe saw first-hand the benefits GLP-1 treatment provides…and he’s excited to partner with others to bring about similar change.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys fishing, collecting comic books, watching/attending sporting events, lifting weights, spending time with his wife (and high school sweetheart!) Lindsey, his family, and of course his 19 year-old cat Baxter.
